Podiatrist - Aeromedical and Primary Health Care Specialist

About the Role
As a Podiatrist with the Royal Flying Doctor Service, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering culturally safe podiatry services to outback South Australia. Your expertise will be focused on preventing, diagnosing, and treating medical and surgical conditions of the feet, including bone and joint disorders, muscular pathologies, and neurological and circulatory diseases.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive podiatry services to consumers, carers, and families in remote and rural communities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of prevention and early intervention strategies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated health services
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local community members and healthcare providers
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- AHPRA registration as a Podiatrist
- Extensive clinical experience as a Level 2 Podiatrist
- Sound knowledge of social determinants of rural and remote health
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
