Data Centre Operations Manager

This position requires a skilled individual to oversee the 24X7 monitoring of the data centre's physical infrastructure and provide support to the onsite team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels.
The ideal candidate will need to have an understanding of data centre IT infrastructure and data centre facilities infrastructure and how the two entities co-exist. This role involves collaborating with various teams across the organisation, including software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and others.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the data centre's physical infrastructure
- Provide support to the onsite team
- Assist with the development of communication and escalation protocols
- Contribute to outage post mortem analysis
- Ensure records are updated in a timely manner
- Assist with coordination and communication during emergency recovery efforts
Requirements:
- 2+ years of Electrical or Mechanical Experience
- 1+ years of experience working with Building and/or Electrical Platform Management Systems
- 2+ Years' Experience in Data Centre Engineering/ Operations
