This is an opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring students attain learning outcomes and satisfactorily complete their assessment tasks.

  • Deliver lectures, workshops, practical classes, and tutorials as specified by the Program Director.
  • Participate in course review initiatives, moderation, and course development as necessary.
  • Develop and deliver academic programs for students, including orientation events, study skill development, and other tutoring and mentoring initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing student support.

This is a casual position with face-to-face teaching at Melbourne's Flinders St campus 2 days per week.

You'll have the opportunity to develop and deliver academic programs, provide student support, and contribute to course review initiatives.

As a qualified professional in a related health field, you'll be able to teach first-year students and have a passion for making a positive impact on their lives.

Requirements
  • Experience using counselling skills in a Health context.
  • Expert communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate in diverse settings, including multi-modal and interprofessional environments.
  • Knowledge of Micro-skills, core conditions, and philosophies.
  • Experience in teaching self-reflection and person-centred practice.
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience using Counselling skills.
