We're The Y WA, a local not-for-profit Early Learning Centre dedicated to inspiring and nurturing children to become independent little butterflies. As our new Centre Director, you'll play a vital role in leading our team and shaping the future of our centre based in Ashdale, Perth.


You'll be responsible for heading up our centre, inspiring our team, and collaborating with them to provide high-quality learning experiences for our children. Your expertise will be invaluable in developing and implementing a high-quality learning curriculum, overseeing staff training sessions, and upholding YMCA policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead our team of skilled educators and chair staff meetings
  • Conduct performance reviews and facilitate staff training sessions
  • Develop and implement a high-quality learning curriculum
  • Uphold YMCA policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with your team to provide high-quality learning experiences for our children

Requirements:


  • A degree or diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Certificates
  • Understanding of the National Quality Framework and National Education and Care Services Regulations 2012
  • Experience as a Manager/Director/Supervisor/Assistant Director/Assistant Manager in an early childhood setting
  • Knowledge of child development and high-quality programming practices
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children card
