The Cafe Attendant creates a warm and inviting cafe atmosphere where residents can socialize, relax, and enjoy refreshments.

Your primary functions will be:

  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and attentive customer service to residents, staff, and visitors who visit the cafe.
  • Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, as well as simple snacks or light meals available in the cafe.
  • Menu Management: Assist in creating and updating the cafe menu, considering residents' dietary requirements, preferences, and popular choices.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions accurately and securely.
  • Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and other cafe supplies, and reorder items as necessary.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and equipment.

Skills & Experience

  • Food Handlers Certificate.
  • Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn.
  • Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
  • Friendly and effective communication abilities.
