Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated healthcare professional to join our team as an Injury Prevention and Education specialist. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing timely and competent treatment and advice for injuries and illnesses at our workplace.

About the Role:

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Providing treatment and advice to minimize the effects of injuries and maximize recovery rates.
  • Encouraging awareness amongst employees and contractors on health issues and healthy lifestyle options.
  • Delivering training which imparts skills and knowledge of injury treatment and management practices and procedures.
  • Providing timely and accurate statistics and information to support injury prevention initiatives.
  • Delivering advanced emergency first aid training to Emergency Response Team members.
  • Assisting with managing Workers' Compensation cases.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Registration with the relevant health practitioner agency.
  • Immunisation Certificate and Drugs of Abuse Testing qualification.
  • Current and valid driver's licence.
  • Previous experience working in emergency or remote area nursing roles.
  • A working knowledge of Injury Management and Rehabilitation practices and procedures.
  • Ability to work autonomously and align with site medical guidelines.
