About the Role

  • Provide clinical expertise in reviews of serious clinical incidents to determine root causes and identify strong recommendations for improvement.
  • Offer guidance to build capacity within Clinical Directorates in clinical incident management and quality assurance.
  • Examine the effectiveness of recommendations from serious clinical incident reviews and identify potential system and process improvements.
  • Deliver open disclosure to individuals affected by clinical incidents with compassion and empathy.
  • Collaborate with operational directorates across various health services to achieve common goals.
