Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Safety Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Lead a team of technical experts to manage regulatory operations and provide authoritative advice on environmental science, risk management, and safety.
  • Work collaboratively with the Executive Director and Deputy CEO to plan, secure, retain, and allocate resources.
  • Continuously improve effectiveness and efficiency by working across divisions to support initiatives.
  • Maintain oversight of the use of regulatory powers.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in offshore safety and environmental management in an oil and gas industry discipline or operations of a regulatory organisation and/or major hazard industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and proven track record in a regulatory environment and/or major hazard industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
