Job Role: Catering Support Professional

Description and Requirements:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Catering Support Professional to join our team. This role is vital in providing efficient, high-quality catering support services. You will work closely with clinical and care teams to deliver nutritious meals and refreshments while ensuring the highest food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up each servery and dining area ready for each meal period in line with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Setting up trolleys for tea breaks and supper.
  • Washing dishes and cleaning according to the Food Safety Program.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of areas where food is prepared and served.
  • Assisting with meal preparation when required.
  • Monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Plan, such as temperatures, cleaning schedules, receipt of goods, etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for an individual who has previous experience in providing catering assistance or hospitality in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge of Australian Food Standards and Food Safety. Good communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and accurately, are also essential. Additionally, you must be able to work as a team member, prioritise tasks, and adapt to various ways of supporting residents.
