Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned continuity management professional to lead our IT service management efforts. As Senior IT Continuity Lead Service Management Officer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies for disaster recovery and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of comprehensive continuity and recovery plans that align with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify critical services and systems that support core business processes.
  • Work closely with the business continuity team to conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain and improve our Key Business Services list to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Support the planning, design, and coordination of DRP testing to ensure seamless execution and governance.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a culture of resilience within our organization through education and awareness programs.
  • Provide regular status updates to key stakeholders, including the service continuity working group and governance forum.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A strong technical background with experience in recovery strategies and technology.
  • Hands-on experience with modern technologies, including software-as-service, data analytics, cloud services, and service integration.
  • Good knowledge of 24/7/365 enterprise environments and customer-facing platforms.
  • Expertise in process design and maturity assessment.
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and emerging technology best practices.
  • Proven expertise in Service Management & Technology Operations.
Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the above requirements, we prefer candidates with:

  • ITIL Certification and a strong understanding of service levels.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in service continuity and disaster recovery within a medium/large organisation ICT environment.
  • Experience in service continuity and DR planning and testing.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to foster collaboration across business and technology teams.
  • Extensive understanding and ability in applying recognised industry toolsets and frameworks associated with business continuity management.
