We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our structural engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering and excellent communication skills.

Job Description:

The Senior Principal Structural Engineer plays a pivotal role in driving business growth through innovative solutions. They must identify and tackle complex challenges, leveraging their expertise to develop creative strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver conceptual, FEED, and detailed analyses and designs in accordance with project specifications, design codes, and standards
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of the industry to address intricate problems and non-standard situations
  • Prepare accurate and clear design calculations and analyses, including design reports and procedures
  • Manage time effectively to meet objectives and forecast resource requirements
  • Communicate complex concepts and persuade others to adopt a particular point of view
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in engineering
  • 20+ years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultants predominantly performing detail design
  • Preferably Registered Professional Engineer or member of professional engineering society as applicable
  • Good knowledge of engineering software
  • Able to work independently
  • Good working knowledge of English, both oral and written
  • HSE, TQM, and cost-conscious
  • Good technical structural knowledge
  • Good organizer, motivator, and supervisor
