A dynamic opportunity exists for a seasoned Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the efficient management of inventory, tools, and equipment across multiple sites.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a solid understanding of inventory management systems and safety regulations.
About the Role- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials, tools and equipment in line with purchase orders. Ensure accurate stock records and log movements.
- Compliance & Audits: Conduct and manage contractual stocktaking programmes, reconcile discrepancies, and escalate issues.
- Tool & Equipment Management: Track, inspect, and maintain tools and equipment, coordinating repairs and ensuring readiness.
- Safety & Risk Oversight: Ensure safe handling of hazardous goods, maintain safety records, and support emergency preparedness.
- Collaboration & Improvement: Work closely with technicians and staff to source parts and contribute to process improvements and training updates.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of managing warehousing, stores, inventory management systems, and small teams of employees.
- Qualifications: Forklift and driver's licenses are required; MR/HR and High-Risk Work licences desirable.
- Skillset: Proficient in SAP inventory systems, strong record-keeping skills essential. Solid understanding of safety regulations and handling of hazardous materials.
- Priorities: Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. Commitment to ongoing training, professional development, and continuous improvement.
