Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Support Professional to join our team at BlueCare. As a Residential Support Officer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality aged care services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality and Clinical Activities
    • Support the delivery of quality and clinical activities within designated residential aged care homes.
    • Collaborate with Residential Service Managers to ensure services meet identified needs and standards of quality care, including compliance with Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission - Quality Standards.
  • Quality Audits and Continuous Improvement
    • Support site-specific quality audits and work with Service Managers to develop, implement, and evaluate continuous improvement processes to facilitate ongoing quality compliance.
    • Ensure the auditing cycle is maintained, including completion of service audits as directed, and support action plan progress and completion.
  • Data Collection and Reporting
    • Assist with the collection of site-specific NQIP data collection and submission as directed.
  • Incident Reporting and Resolution
    • Assist with incident reporting, including SIRS mandatory reporting, and participate in investigations and the timely resolution of complaints as appropriate.
  • Complex Care Management and Case Conferencing
    • Support complex care management and case conferencing as needed.
  • ACQSC Readiness
    • Support ACQSC readiness, including unannounced folders, and supporting documentation.
  • Organisational Commitment
    • Participate in and contribute to relevant organisation-wide committees, working parties, and research activities as requested to progress innovation that supports effective and efficient quality service delivery in line with best practice.
Requirements
  • Registration and Experience
    • Hold and maintain valid registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA).
    • Minimum of five (5) years experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Probity Checks
    • All BlueCare staff must satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or BlueCare policies.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Demonstrated broad experience in service delivery and quality systems in either the aged, community care, or health sectors.
