Job Summary:
The School of Computer and Mathematical Sciences at The University of Adelaide is seeking an exceptional Academic Educator to support the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Computer Science. As an Academic Educator, you will be responsible for reviewing and re-designing courses at postgraduate level for the Master of Data Science (Applied) program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and re-design courses at postgraduate level using an evidence-based approach.
- Develop and deliver online and blended course content.
- Coordinate and teach courses at the tertiary level.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials.
- Engage with students, staff, and industry partners to promote student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Participate in academic and professional development activities to enhance teaching and research skills.
Requirements:
- PhD in statistics, data science, computer science, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in course review and development, teaching, and research.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
