Nursery Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Nursery Manager to lead our Watch Them Grow Nursery. This key role involves maximising sales and growth while ensuring strong customer focus and quality service.

  • Operate the nursery effectively, drive sales growth and achieve profitability
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach and commit to delivering exceptional service and product offerings
  • Manage administration areas, including presentation, cleanliness, banking and budgeting requirements
  • Develop employees through mentoring and coaching, empowering them to achieve local, financial and missional goals
  • Ensure a safe working environment, manage workplace incidents and maintain required documentation

Requirements:

  • Extensive nursery management experience
  • Ability to manage employees, customers and volunteers
  • Demonstrated knowledge of key areas of competence in nursery management, sales, production, administration and maintenance
  • Familiarity with occupational health and safety policies and procedures
  • Current valid manual driver's license and physical fitness for the role
  • Desirable: relevant accredited trade certificate in horticulture or agriculture
