Corporate Tax Manager

This role involves delivering and implementing tax advice, preparing and reviewing technical tax reports, and problem-solving to identify tax-effective capital management strategies.

  • Tax Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and implement tax advice, including tax structuring strategies
  • Prepare and review technical tax reports
  • Solve problems by identifying and implementing tax-effective capital management strategies
  • Prepare M&A tax advice, due diligence reports, and review sale & purchase agreements
  • Develop tax thought leadership presentations and media articles, and deliver internal and external tax presentations
  • Conduct tax compliance, including reviewing income tax returns and tax effect accounting calculations
  • Identify client tax risks and apply global and local quality control processes and risk procedures
  • Mentor and supervise your tax team
  • Stay up-to-date on recent developments in taxation and provide commentary to Federal Treasury, Australian Taxation Office, and the media

About You:

  • You have 5+ years of corporate tax experience
  • You are CA or CPA qualified or equivalent, alternatively CTA in process or completed
  • You are willing to learn from award-winning partners and work with prestigious brand name clients
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills to enhance client relationships
