Electronics Engineer - Rail Systems

Our client, a renowned developer of high-tech solutions for the railway and steel industries, is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join their team in Sydney. With a strong focus on innovation and in-house software development, they offer a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers and drive solutions to meet their needs.
  • Coordinate application engineering activities during commissioning phases.
  • Suggest improvements to products based on field experience and lessons learned.

Engineering Activities:

  • Calibration and system tuning.
  • Diagnosis, investigation, and problem-solving.
  • Customer technical advisory.
  • Electrical and mechanical measurements.
  • Measurement systems operation.
  • Software activities.

Maintenance Activities:

  • Manage logistics for service activities.
  • Provide local support for system specialists.
  • Coordinate engineering during commissioning phases.
  • Customer interface during commissioning and after-sales.

Requirements:

  • Electronic engineering degree or equivalent background.
  • Knowledge of digital electronics, signal analysis, and processing.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic devices and at least two years of experience in the railway industry.
  • Knowledge of Windows OS and LabVIEW.
