Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned operations manager with expertise in process optimisation, systems integration, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving continuous improvement, implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies across various operational functions and implement Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies to optimise workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
  • Operational Efficiency: Lead the development, tracking, and achievement of operational KPIs to continuously improve service delivery, reduce costs, and enhance operational performance.
  • Systems Optimisation: Drive the integration and implementation of operational systems, ensuring streamlined processes and enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire, manage, and develop operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Project Management: Oversee key operational projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with organisational goals.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001) and regulations.
  • Innovation and Change Management: Proactively identify emerging technologies, new systems, and process innovations that will help future-proof operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Proven experience in operations management, particularly in process improvement, systems optimisation, and driving operational efficiency in fast-paced environments.
  • Certification or hands-on experience with Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred), or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully implement process improvement projects and lead teams to achieve measurable results.
  • A data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills, enabling you to make informed decisions and identify areas for operational enhancement.
  • Experience in managing compliance with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 27001) and other industry-specific certifications.
  • Knowledge of standards related to secure data destruction or IT lifecycle services is a plus.
