The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated professional to join us on a casual basis at our Cheltenham Centre. You will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing environment for the children in our care.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure child safety and wellbeing using active supervision skills
  • Collaborate with the team on curriculum implementation
  • Provide personalized attention and address unique learning styles and needs
  • Guide behaviour through positive reinforcement for social and emotional development
  • Maintain open communication with parents about a child's progress and concerns
  • Participate in team meetings for a cohesive approach to education
  • Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere embracing diverse backgrounds in a culturally sensitive manner

Requirements

  • Available to pick up shifts between 6:30am - 6:30pm M-F
  • Working towards or hold a minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
  • Valid Working With Children Check
  • First Aid/Child Protection training (or willing to obtain)
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Child Safe Standards
  • Working knowledge and understanding of NQF & EYLF
  • Genuine passion for the Early Childhood sector
