We are seeking a healthcare cleaning specialist to join our team in a casual capacity. The successful applicant will have a strong background in cleaning and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

The role involves providing a high standard of cleaning services to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff. This includes operating in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, corridors, and public areas.
  • Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
  • Report any hazards or maintenance issues to the facilities manager.
  • Participate in training and education programs to improve cleaning skills and knowledge.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure patient satisfaction is achieved at all times.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital, aged care, or medical setting.
  • Knowledge of infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
