Enrolled Nurse

Deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive team environment as an Enrolled Nurse in our Haematology/Transplant Unit.
Our unit is a 21-bed ward at Royal North Shore Hospital, providing comprehensive care to patients with haematological disorders. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work closely with the Registered Nurse and other healthcare professionals to provide individualised care to patients requiring chemotherapy, bone marrow transplantation, radiotherapy, and blood products.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment, working under the supervision of experienced Registered Nurses.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients using an individualised holistic approach.
- Work under the direct and indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Consult with the Registered Nurse to ensure delegation is commensurate with own level of competence and within Local Health District and Service policy.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Post-registration experience in an acute hospital environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background is encouraged to apply.
