With 22 operating theatres, we offer a wide range of specialties, including 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT, General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.
Responsibilities- Adhere to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements, and Healthscope's policies and processes.
- Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of excellent standard of evidence-based, person-centred patient care.
- Maintain your own professional learning and continuous professional development.
- Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices.
- Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive a high quality of care across the health care continuum.
- Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes.
- Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in ICU.
- Minimum 2 years Post Graduate Experience, previous experience in a Coronary Care/Critical Care Unit.
- Understanding of the Australian National Commission in Quality and Safety Ten National Standards.
- Demonstrate the ability to show initiative and work within a team environment.
