Homeware Retail Store Assistant

About the Role:

We are looking for someone who is reliable, determined to meet high standards, and willing to be flexible regarding working days and hours. As part of your responsibilities, you may be required to lift and load heavy items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with purchases and provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Process transactions and handle cash/credit sales
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash/credit sales
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
