Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Bowral House, a luxury residential aged care facility located in the beautiful Southern Highlands. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-level clinical care to our residents, ensuring their individual care needs are met and their quality of life is enhanced.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision to AINs (Assistant in Nursing) to ensure high-quality care is delivered to residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, medical practitioners, allied health professionals, and relatives to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Ensure that resident care and treatments are documented to meet regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that promote resident independence and well-being.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care is provided to residents.
Requirements
- Endorsed by APHRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
- Aged care experience beneficial.
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in Australia.
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing.
- Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Ability to problem-solve, negotiate, mediate, and resolve conflict.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strive for excellence in customer service and promote an environment of harmony and trust.
- Demonstrated high-level organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written documentation and assessment skills.
