We are seeking a caring and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Care Worker in the Blacktown area. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to our customers in their own homes.

As a Home Care Worker, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks including:

  • Domestic Assistance: Cleaning the home of our customers to ensure they have a safe and comfortable living space.
  • Meal Preparation and Shopping: Helping our customers with meal preparation and shopping for groceries.
  • Social Support and Transport: Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities, appointments, and outings.
  • Personal Care: Assisting with personal care tasks such as getting our customers up, showered, and dressed for the day, managing medications, and assisting with mobility and therapy goals.
  • Respite and Emotional Support: Providing respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.

What Do We Look for in a Care Worker?

  • Experience as a Care or Support Worker: We look for individuals with some experience as a care or support worker, including experience with personal care.
  • Caring Attitude: You must have a caring attitude and a genuine interest in assisting our aged community to live independently at home for longer.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License: A valid P1 class or above Australian driver's license and registered vehicle are essential for this role.
  • Flexible and Adaptable: You must be flexible and adaptable, able to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems while prioritizing the needs of our customers.

Estimated Salary: AU$25 per hour + Super + Paid KM's + Phone Allowance
