We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Health Service Support Specialist.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support under the supervision of Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing direct patient care and support under the supervision of Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses.
- Assisting with patient transfers and movements within the hospital.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes or concerns to relevant staff members.
- Contributing to a safe and efficient patient admission, transfer, and discharge process.
- Collaborating with the care team to ensure seamless communication and effective care delivery.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Health Service Assistant (Client/Patient Services) or similar qualification.
- Currently studying in a health-related field at a tertiary level, with relevant skills and knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and patients.
- Familiarity with infection control procedures and safety protocols.
