We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Health Service Support Specialist.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support under the supervision of Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing direct patient care and support under the supervision of Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses.
  • Assisting with patient transfers and movements within the hospital.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes or concerns to relevant staff members.
  • Contributing to a safe and efficient patient admission, transfer, and discharge process.
  • Collaborating with the care team to ensure seamless communication and effective care delivery.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Health Service Assistant (Client/Patient Services) or similar qualification.
  • Currently studying in a health-related field at a tertiary level, with relevant skills and knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and patients.
  • Familiarity with infection control procedures and safety protocols.
