About Our Opportunity:

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team in a traineeship role at our Rockdale location. This is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about childcare and education to develop their skills and knowledge.

The Role:

As a trainee, you will work collaboratively with experienced Early Childhood Educators towards collective goals. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating a safe and caring environment for all children
  • Driving initiatives and curriculum activities
  • Observing and documenting the progress of each child
  • Liaising with parents regarding routines, progress and challenges
  • Assisting with the implementation of programs and experiences to meet individual children's needs
  • Maintaining the physical environment
  • Engaging in professional communication with families and caregivers

Key Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualities:

  • Compassionate and kind nature
  • No qualification required; traineeship available
  • Full time availability
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Current Working with Children Check and Child Protection Certificate
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Desire to work in the childcare industry
