- Review and implement SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements) to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Deliver high-risk workshops and tool box talks to promote a culture of safety and awareness.
- Perform site inspections, walks, and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Report on HSE performance using the IMS (Integrated Management System) to inform decision-making and drive improvement.
- Manage subcontractors, internal, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- 3+ years of experience in commercial construction as a HSE Coordinator or OHS Officer, with a Cert IV WHS qualification.
- Demonstrated understanding of commercial construction high-risk works and the ability to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Confidence in building relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from site managers to external partners.
- Ideal candidates will have a trade background and a strong understanding of the construction industry.
A competitive salary package of $120-$140K, dependent on experience, and the opportunity to work on a high-profile project with a leading organization in the industry.
