Job Title: Production Team Member - Night Shift

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our production team in a night shift role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various duties in a fast-paced factory environment.

The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills, good numeracy, and the ability to work well within a small team. Experience within a factory setting is essential, and prior experience working on night shifts would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with the production manager as necessary to ensure smooth operation of the factory floor.
  • Operate machinery to produce products, including placing plastic containers into grinders.
  • Report all safety issues to quality control and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping around machines to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Complete relevant paperwork as required and adhere to company procedures.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience within a factory environment is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and understanding of numeracy.
  • Able to work well within a small team and maintain confidentiality when required.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a noise environment (earplugs and safety glasses provided). Additional personal protective equipment may be required depending on specific job duties.
