About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer to join our team at West Recruitment Pty Ltd. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for managing payroll for multiple manufacturing and distribution sites. You will work in a small team, cross-training and alternating sites to be continuously challenged.

Responsibilities:

* Process timesheets for weekly payments
* Manage monthly salary payments
* Handle and resolve payroll queries
* Process payroll adjustments
* Set up new starters and update termination paperwork
* Update employee details and changes
* Month end reporting
* Annual PAYG reports
* Work closely with HR

Requirements:

* Proven track record in a full-function role
* Experience with a time and attendance system
* Knowledge and understanding of Australian employment law
* Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with relevant departments
* Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Experience using large payroll systems
