Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • \
  • Manage the company's accounts payable function, including receipt and processing of invoices\
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices\
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies\
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers\
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team as required\
  • Other duties as assigned by management\
  • Australian payables, with the occasional international task thrown in\
  • Matching invoices, cross-checking data, and working with internal teams to approve and process payments\
  • Navigating customised processes\
  • Learns fast and adapts even faster\
  • Is independent, and not afraid to ask questions\
  • Has previous payables or finance admin experience and is confident with systems and data work\

  • We need someone who can learn quickly and adapt to new situations\
  • You will be working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively\
  • You will have excellent communication and organizational skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team\
  • You will have prior experience in accounts payable or a related field and be familiar with financial software and systems\
  • You will be able to provide examples of times when you have gone above and beyond in your previous roles\
