Job Overview

The Construction Team Leader will oversee the strategic management and control of the construction unit, ensuring smooth project execution.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of construction professionals;
  • Develop and implement effective construction strategies;
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards;
  • Manage project resources efficiently;
  • Maintain excellent communication with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • National Certificate of Education (Year 10) or equivalent qualification;
  • Completed supervisor training program or suitable work experience;
  • Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence or equivalent;
  • SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Card (TCP);
  • SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card ('White Card');
  • Knowledge of roadwork techniques and quality control principles;
  • Understanding of structural practices;
  • Desirable: First Aid Certificate, SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Card (IMP), Safe Work near Overhead Powerlines Certificate.
Working Conditions

Employment terms and conditions are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023. The job classification is Administrative/Technical Trades Band 2, Level 2, Grade 10. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience, ranging from $1,349.60 to $1,453.46 gross per week.
