The Director of Tennis Performance will lead the development of a world-class coaching community that fosters high-performing environments where players thrive.
This involves elevating the quality of performance coaching in Australia, ensuring coaches understand and embody best practices. The role also oversees education and development initiatives for performance coaches.
Furthermore, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the digitalisation of the Tennis Australia Player Development Matrix and fostering a connected and collaborative national performance coaching network.
Additionally, they will facilitate the ongoing development and refinement of the Performance team philosophy, including operationalising character attributes, coaching approach, and high-performance culture.
About You
You will possess significant experience coaching performance tennis players and delivering tennis performance coaching education. You will bring strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and knowledge of creating dynamic content and learning opportunities for coaches.
You should have technology capability, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as other multimedia development packages. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is essential. You must hold a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
