We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to lead our team of fitters in delivering high-quality services.
The role involves managing the team to rebuild products in an efficient, effective and safe manner both at the service centre and on site for shutdowns as required.
Key responsibilities include supervising the team, training and mentoring them to work in accordance with workshop & site procedures, completing quotations and processing service orders, carrying out site work within budget and time expectations, and planning all service work including monitoring labour resources and materials planning.
Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Trade certificate in mechanical fitting
- Proven experience leading a team, coaching, and providing technical support, disciplinary requirements
- Ability to plan and organize workloads as required
- High-risk forklift ticket and dogging/rigging skills highly desirable
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on safety
- Current manual drivers license required
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our service centre and on-site activities. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
