Legal Content Specialist Opportunity

A dynamic role awaits an accomplished lawyer seeking a new challenge, leveraging their commercial expertise to deliver high-quality legal content. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Commercial lawyers looking to transition from practice into a content-focused career.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in plain English. A background in Australian mid-to-top-tier law firms or in-house counsel roles would be highly valued.

This is a part-time position, ideally on a 4-days per week basis, offering flexibility and work-life balance. The successful applicant will be based in Australia, preferably within commuting distance of one of our State-based offices (Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date practical legal content that meets the highest standards.
  • Prepare and maintain practically-focused content as well as resources for our popular product that provides guidance on legal practices.
  • Support Relationship Managers in building brand awareness and influencing market share across clients and stakeholders.
  • Participate in or contribute to in-market activities, such as masterclasses, webinars, and customer feedback sessions.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years PQE.
  • Australian qualified lawyer.
  • Recent experience in an Australian mid-to-top-tier law firm or in-house counsel role.
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracts, business structures, franchising, purchase and sale of business, trusts, government procurement, and sanctions.
  • Excellent communication and plain-English writing skills.
  • Aptitude for building relationships with diverse clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
