About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team in Perth, Western Australia on a 24-month fixed term contract. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of all site activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, quality standards, and project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a construction strategy based on the scope of work, contract obligations, and company policy.
- Manage the construction schedule, providing input to the Project Manager and project Master Schedule.
- Coordinate the preparation of overall and discipline construction progress charts.
- Oversee the site organization, including site key personnel, job descriptions, and necessary qualifications.
- Manage site preparation activities at the home office for construction prior to mobilization.
- Be responsible for the management of the construction site.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all relationships with local authorities, clients, partners, stakeholders, subcontractors, or vendors linked to site activities.
- Ensure the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of Quality Management Systems and HSE&S policy.
- Monitor site activities and trends of site costs.
- Ensure timely reporting of incidents to the Project Manager.
- Make necessary corrections to the construction strategy during execution.
- Maintain accurate records of all site activities, including progress reports, budgets, and safety records.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager with a strong background in onshore plant construction. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or Master's, formal training in Project Management (PMP or equivalent), and extensive experience in a Site Management role. The candidate should also have a deep understanding of construction processes, strong leadership, interpersonal, and influential skills, and be adept at leading functional project teams and managing critical timelines.
