Care and Support Worker

About the Role:

This is an opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with various needs. As a Care and Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing emotional support, companionship, and practical assistance to enable individuals to live independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, ensuring their wellbeing and safety.
  • Support individuals with their medication and attend medical appointments with them as required.
  • Promote independence and encourage individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Maintain accurate records and document all activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A certificate III or IV qualification in a relevant field such as Individual Support or Disability.
  • Fully vaccinated (proof of immunity towards Whooping cough, measles, HepB, and chicken pox).
  • Full working rights.
  • Currently hold or willing to obtain a National Police Check.
  • 6 months plus paid experience in providing care and support to individuals with a range of needs.
