A career opportunity awaits at Arista Networks, a leading innovator in data-driven client-to-cloud networking. As a Major Account Manager Sales Melbourne, you will be the face of our company to customers, aligning our technical resources to achieve business outcomes.

This role involves cultivating relationships with existing customers and penetrating new logo accounts, leveraging your hunter mentality and technology sales expertise. With a proven track record in direct selling into commercial and enterprise accounts, you will exceed sales targets and drive growth in the Melbourne area.

About the Role

As a trusted advisor, you will utilize a consultative selling approach to address business needs across the Arista product portfolio. This includes software-driven open networking switching platforms for high-performance data centers, campus, and AI networks. Your responsibilities will include meeting with key influencers and decision-makers to present our value proposition, working with systems engineers to design solutions, and collaborating with technology partners.

  • Exceed measurable sales objectives and extend the Arista brand within the assigned territory
  • Cultivate relationships with existing customers and penetrate new logo accounts
  • Present Arista's value proposition to key influencers and decision-makers
  • Design and position compelling solutions that drive down total cost of ownership
Requirements and Qualifications

We seek an individual with a BS/BA degree or equivalent and 5+ years of technology sales experience. A relevant data center or networking background is essential, along with strong rolodex and relationships within the territory. Excellent people skills and ability to build relationships at all levels are crucial for success.
