About the Job:

As the AP+ Group Reporting Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing insights to support decision-making at the group level. You will work closely with the leadership team to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to drive growth and profitability.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the month-end process, including reviewing balance sheet reconciliations.
  2. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting regulations.
  3. Implement and maintain strong internal controls.
  4. Lead and oversee the annual audit process.
  5. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
  6. Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and initiatives.
  7. Assist with the tax compliance process.
  8. Identify and drive improvements in financial processes.
  9. Support cross-functional projects across the business.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  1. An Australian-recognised Accounting degree
  2. Experience in managing the month-end close process
  3. Proven ability in mentoring, coaching, and leading teams
  4. Hands-on experience in preparing financial statements
  5. Strong knowledge of accounting standards
  6. In-depth understanding of internal controls
  7. A mix of audit and commercial experience
  8. Involvement in transformation and process improvement initiatives and projects
