Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Assistant to join our team at Centennial Lodge Residential Aged Care Facility in Wantirna South. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality food and beverage services to our residents, ensuring their individual nutritional requirements and preferences are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the dining rooms are well maintained, with tables presented in a neat and tidy manner.
  • Prepare, serve, and present food and beverages in accordance with our Food Safety Program.
  • Deliver food and beverages to residents in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring their dietary and specialized nutritional requirements are met.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, presenting a professional image when interacting with residents during meal services.

Requirements

  • A valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance is mandatory for this role.
  • All Aged Care workers must be vaccinated against Covid-19 and are encouraged to receive the Flu-Vaccine.
  • A Food Handling Certificate is required for this position.
