About the Role

The Mater Hospital Brisbane Intensive Care Unit is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

As a Registered Nurse in ICU, you will work closely with a friendly and professional team to provide exceptional patient care. You will have a strong patient-service focus, demonstrate a commitment to continued service improvement, and be required to demonstrate problem-solving skills to improve patient care outcomes relevant to the ward.

You will utilise your abilities to become a valued member of the team and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional patient care and advocating for patients' needs
  • Collaborating with the nursing team to ensure seamless integration and delivery of care
  • Demonstrating a commitment to continued service improvement and quality patient care
  • Utilising problem-solving skills to improve patient care outcomes

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in ICU
  • Completed or committed to completing an ICU Transition Support Program
  • Ability to work a flexible roster consisting of 12-hour shifts, 50% day/night split

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate Certificate in Intensive Care Nursing
  • Recent working experience in Intensive Care
