About the Role

The Corporate Services program oversees all financial, legal, compliance, insurance, property, payroll, vehicle fleet, and information technology services for MacKillop Family Services.

A Business Analyst role plays a crucial part in leveraging data to enhance business processes, support decision-making, and facilitate communication between business and technical teams. This position is vital in ensuring that data is effectively utilized to drive business success and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring: Develop and implement plans to analyze business needs and propose solutions.
  • Requirements Elicitation and Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure accurate capture and addressal of their needs.
  • Strategy Analysis: Analyze current business processes and data to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Solution Evaluation: Assess the performance of implemented solutions to ensure they deliver expected business value and identify areas for improvement.

This is a Full-Time opportunity within our Corporate Services/Information Technology Program. The position reports to the Enterprise Architect.

  • A generous base salary (AUD $85,000 - AUD $110,000 per annum), depending on experience.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in managing business requirements and process improvements, preferably within an IT environment.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze complex business processes and data to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Proficiency in both verbal and written communication to interact with stakeholders, gather requirements, and convey complex information clearly.
