Job Title:
Operational Resilience Specialist - Asia Pacific

Role Summary
The successful candidate will be a key member of the regional Operational Resilience Team, responsible for overseeing and executing internal audit engagements in Asia Pacific. The role includes planning, developing audit scope, maintaining project timelines, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with standards.

The candidate will work closely with Senior and Executive Management to understand risks within the business, changes, and significant events that could impact operations and audits. They will participate in senior-level committees, present to corporate Audit and Business Risk Committees, and communicate with external auditors and various risk committees.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to operational efficiency and control environment improvements across the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead audit plans and strategies in collaboration with global teams
- Conduct operational resilience audits, reviews, and consulting services
- Analyze and evaluate business processes, controls, and operating practices
- Identify potential control weaknesses and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective control environments

Requirements
- Significant experience auditing against regulatory requirements relating to Business Resiliency and Information Security in the financial services industry in Australia and/or APAC region
- Knowledge of financial industry standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, FFIEC, GDPR)
- Professional certifications (e.g., IIA, CPA, CA, CISA, CISSP, CCSP)
- Strong communication, analytical, leadership, and organizational skills
- Excellent report writing and documentation skills

About You
- A College or University degree is preferred
- Strong ability to analyze complex information and provide insightful recommendations
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in fast-paced environments
