This role is responsible for undertaking corrective and preventative maintenance to plant and equipment as necessary. You will be required to plan, schedule and complete maintenance tasks through adherence to the annual maintenance plan.
You will contribute to plant reliability through application of continuous improvement practices, problem solving and maintenance of appropriate work procedures. Additionally, you will provide reliable and accurate data and feedback to key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of safety processes and procedures as they relate to a heavy industry/materials processing environment. An Engineering Mechanical Maintainer (Fitter & Turner Fixed Plant Mechanical) qualification is mandatory for this role.
Your commitment to safe maintenance practices and operating principles, superior planning and organisational skills; and your ability to manage and co-ordinate contractors will be key in contributing to your success in this role.
