Maintenance Coordinator Role

Catholic Healthcare is seeking a skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Villa Maria in Fortitude Valley. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical safety and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute the preventative maintenance program to maintain a safe and secure environment for residents
  • Perform reactive repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
  • Coordinate external maintenance contractors to ensure timely and efficient service
  • Work safely and follow all policies and procedures to protect yourself, colleagues, and residents
Requirements:
  • Trade certificate or Cert IV in Maintenance/Building services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Hands-on experience with building maintenance, handyman, or building services
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety legislation
  • Able to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families
  • Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs of residents
  • Great IT skills
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
