About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for implementing National Safety, Health & Wellbeing (SH&W) strategies at a site level, while also developing and delivering site-specific strategies to support our SH&W strategy and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Comply with and promote all occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
- Champion safety on site through the development and implementation of Safety Business Plans.
- Ensure site compliance is delivered and maintained, and lead onsite implementation of the Wesfarmers Health internal and external audit program.
- Implement Risk Management procedures for site(s) to ensure risks are identified, assessed accurately, and controlled to an acceptable standard.
- Support and coach local leadership teams on application of Wesfarmers Health's Care Program Policy, and associated recovery at work and early intervention strategies.
- Relevant experience in a similar role within Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution or Warehousing business.
- Sound technical knowledge in relation to OH&S legislation and standards.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management and consultation skills to identify and influence desired outcomes.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
- High attention to detail, with excellent time management skills.
