At CIMIC, we are seeking a dedicated Pre-Service Equipment Inspector to enhance our operational excellence within a dynamic team environment. This role offers an opportunity to further develop your expertise while contributing to our high-performance standards.

The position operates on a lifestyle roster of 5/4, 4/5, 5/5, with 12.5-hour day shifts exclusively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of Haul Trucks during service intervals to detect defects and potential concerns.
  • Generate work orders based on the severity of identified issues and collaborate with maintenance planners to arrange necessary repairs.
  • Analyze machine health reports to facilitate focused inspections.
  • Verify and ensure the accuracy of submitted job planning documentation.
  • Participate in maintenance planning and reliability discussions.

Candidate Profile:

  • Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment) or equivalent with post-trade experience in the mining sector, particularly with CAT 789 and 793 models.
  • Proficient understanding of software applications and prior experience in work order creation is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across various departments, while adhering to critical deadlines and demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
  • A strong commitment to health and safety practices is essential.
