The Job

We are seeking a Concierge Ambassador to join our team at the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa. As a Concierge Ambassador, you will be responsible for delivering memorable arrival and departure experiences for our guests. This includes addressing their service needs in a professional and timely manner, anticipating their needs, and engaging them in conversation about their stay and local attractions.

Critical Responsibilities

• Listen actively and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests to resolve issues and build trust.
• Address guests' service needs promptly and professionally.
• Anticipate guests' needs by asking questions and observing their preferences.
• Assist other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service.
• Engage guests in conversation about their stay and local attractions.
• Provide assistance to guests with disabilities, such as escorting them or using words to explain actions.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell.
• Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, eye contact, and friendly verbal greeting.
• Stay up-to-date on local area information to provide specific recommendations to guests.
• Supply guests with directions and information about property amenities and services.

Successful Candidates

• Have a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Hold a valid driver's license for Queensland.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
• Are available to work weekends and night shifts.
• Have a passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to deliver exceptional service.
• Exhibit a team-first attitude and a gift for paying attention to details.
• Hold an RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
