Street Cleaner Operator

\Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Street Cleaner Operator. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and ensuring the cleanliness of our city.

\Responsibilities:

This role will involve operating various plant, including street litter compactors and medium rigid trucks, as well as manual cleaning using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, leaf blowers and brush cutters. The successful applicant will be responsible for working in a dynamic team environment, demonstrating strong commitment to service delivery, good customer focus and care for city presentation.

\Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in operating plant, undertaking manual handling and utilising tools
  • Ability to work to a rotating seven-day roster and regular overtime
  • Possess a Victorian Driver's Licence endorsed to Heavy Rigid standard
  • Demonstrated experience complying with and working to Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures
\Benefits:

This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a 9-day fortnight arrangement. The successful applicant will have opportunities to undertake different functions which will attract additional allowances, as well as optional guaranteed overtime.
