The University of New South Wales is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the development of integration strategies and design of end-to-end architectures for seamless connection of various systems, applications, and technologies within enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop integration strategies and design E2E architectures for multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
- Define integration standards, best practices, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Identify options for various integration patterns and recommend best-suited options.
- Design, implement, and manage microservices-based integration solutions.
- Establish and maintain an API register, documenting all APIs and interfaces.
- Communicate and influence senior stakeholders to translate requirements and seek buy-in on the integration target state and roadmap.
- Assess and select appropriate integration technologies, platforms, and tools.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices related to contemporary integration styles.
- Identify potential risks and security threats related to integration processes and implement measures to mitigate these risks.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent service experience providing architecture and consulting.
- Desirable - higher education or similar corporate architecture experience.
- Demonstrated experience with integration of Enterprise applications.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation and negotiation skills.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of integration architecture and technologies.
- Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Orchestration capabilities.
- An understanding of and commitment to UNSW's aims, objectives, and values.
